Operating Instructions
- Ensure the circuit under test is completely de-energised before connecting the tester.
- Connect the test leads to the circuit, or utilise the included remote probe for one-handed operation.
- Select the required test voltage (500 V or 1000 V) using the rotary dial.
- Press the test button; the built-in live circuit detection tester will verify the circuit is safe (< 30 V) before applying voltage.
- Read the insulation resistance measurement on the large backlit digital display.
- Release the test button to allow the meter to safely auto-discharge any residual capacitive voltage.
